A visit with a connection

Today, one of our South West risk assessors, Tom Clapcott, visited ASPIRE ACADEMY TRUST outdoor education centre at Carnyorth, near St Just, Cornwall — a former school building dating back to 1892. In a remarkable twist of history, Tom discovered that his great-grandfather, Richard Nicholls, was the very first School Master at Carnyorth. A proud and personal moment during a routine visit! 📚💧
